Our Business Model:

As a single source Metal Finishing business - we specialize in Removing and Applying Coatings. We also provide additional services related to these two primary areas.

Functional and Decorative metals that are exposed to the elements tend to be in a constant state of deterioration. When a new coating or corrosion protection needs to be applied - that's where a Powder Coating process is reccomended.

Our Process is fairly simple - but attention to detail and Quality in all process areas are what set us apart:

We Clean: A superior powder coat finish starts with an absolutely clean surface - also referred to as a substrate. Cleaning metals for powder coating can be done Mechanically or Chemically. We do both - using an abrasive media blasting area to mechanically remove coatings, and a Wash Bay to chemically clean.

We Prep: Once clean - it is best to give the substrate an "attachment profile". Again - this can be done mechanically or chemically. We use abrasives and/or chemicals to lightly "etch" the surface.

We Powder Coat: once clean, etched and dry - bare metal starts to rust and degrade almost immediately. Therefore we rapidly rack and hang the parts and transport them to our environmentally controlled Powder application booth. The parts are grounded, and powder applied via compressed air and a high voltage charge.

We Cure: Once the powder is applied - it is cured via our large convection oven. Powder does not melt but "Crosslinks" which bonds the powder material to the metal substrate. Once cured - most powders will give outstanding performance in terms of adhesion, color retention, impact resistance, etc for many years. Some of our powders are warranted for failure and it is not uncommon for powder coated parts to withstand harsh environments for 15 or more years.

Additional Services:

• Abrasive Blasting - to remove rust, and coatings of any kind. From Baking Soda - the softest abrasive, to Aluminum Oxide for tough jobs - we can handle it
• Welding - MIG and TIG welding, repair and fabrication. From a minor repair to fabrication, de-installation/re-installation and a final powder coating finish - we can handle it.
• Pick up and Delivery available via our 16 ft enclosed trailer.
